The Trails KC Plan is finally going before the City Council!  The Trails KC Plan will go before two council committees as part of the plan adoption process. It will first be heard at the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee and then at the Planning & Zoning Committee. Both meetings are public hearings and community members are welcome to attend. Plan adoption is the first critical step toward building a first-class trail system for Kansas City.

Hearing times/locations:

Transportation & Infrastructure Committee

• Thursday, Oct 30th 10:00 am (1st item on the agenda)
• City Hall, 414 E 12th Street, 10th

Floor Planning & Zoning Committee

• Wednesday, Nov 5th 1:30pm (hearing starts at 1:30 - the agenda isn't out yet, so I don't know what time it might be heard. I will provide an update the week of the hearing)
• City Hall, 414 E 12th Street, 26th Floor

If you cannot attend, but would like to write to the committee members to share your ideas/thoughts about the Trails KC Plan or trails in Kansas City, letters/emails can be sent to me, and I will provide to the councilmembers during the hearing.
