On Nov. 20, 2008 the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri adopted ordinance no. 081052 . This ordinance adopts the Trails KC Plan as a guide for developing a first-class shared-use trail system for pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians, for both commuting and recreation in corridors across the Kansas City area.
